Dental Nurses

Meet our Nursing Team

Our Dental Nurses provide clinical support to the dentists, and support you throughout your visit with us. They have a wealth of knowledge, and can offer you oral health advice and aftercare guidance for any treatment you may have. They have experience in supporting anxious patients, and can provide (or arrange) support for any additional needs you may have.

SARAH ALLEN

Dental Nurse

GDC: 138888
NVQ L3 Oral Health Care: Dental Nursing & Indp Asses NEBDN 2006

‘I started working at the Grange Dental Practice in May 2005, and qualified in July 2007. I love working alongside the dentists to support our lovely patients.

I can honestly say that we are all like a little family; we all get on very well and socialize outside of work when we can. Having two young children at home, it’s nice to come to work in a calm environment (most of the time).  I live with my partner Lee along with our little “cherubs” Connor and Chloe.’

CAROLE COUSINS

Dental Nurse

GDC: 141699  Verified Competency in Dental Nursing

‘I joined the Practice as a Dental Nurse in 2017. I have been a Dental Nurse for over 20 years and am really passionate about the job. Before joining, I previously worked as a Dental Nurse performing domiciliary visits for another Practice. I’m really enjoying being back in the surgery environment.

Outside of work, I love spending time socialising with my family and friends. I have twin daughters who have recently graduated from University. My partner and I also love taking our Cockerpoo George to the beach.’

MOLLIE CRAIG

Dental Nurse

GDC: 281981 National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN 2019

‘After completing my A Levels and a year in applied science at Northumbria University I knew I wanted a career within the Dental Profession. I joined the Practice in 2017 as a Trainee, and in 2019 I passed my Nursing Exams to become a fully Qualified Dental Nurse. I have been accepted onto the Teesside University Dental Therapy Course in September 2019, but will continue working part time within the Practice while studying.

Outside of work, I am very active, and visit the gym regularly. I also love spending time going out with friends.’

NISBA HUSSAIN

Dental Nurse (currently on maternity leave)

Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2016

‘I joined the Grange Dental Practice in 2014 as a Trainee Dental Nurse, straight from school. I achieved my full Dental Nurse Qualification in 2016. In future I will work on achieving additional qualifications whilst working at the Practice.

I was married in 2018, and we welcomed our gorgeous baby boy to the family in 2019.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy baking and being creative, so much so that I have recently taken up sewing.’

IMOGEN ORD-SMITH

Dental Nurse

GDC: 274568
Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2014

‘I am a fully Qualified Dental Nurse with lots of surgery and reception experience with other Practices. I had always heard that the culture at the Grange was lovely, and so was delighted to join the team in March 2016.

I have quickly become part of the Grange team, and am really enjoying working alongside the Dentists and Therapists to support our patients.

In my spare time I spend my summers camping, and most years attend Leeds Festival. I have a kitten named Pedro and I spend my weekends supporting ‘The Boro’.’

KAYLEIGH REEVES

Dental Nurse (currently on maternity leave)

GDC: 203817
NVQ L3 Dental Nursing & VRQ L3 Dental Nursing City & Guilds 2010

”I have worked at the Grange Dental Practice since the tender age of 16. I have since continued my career qualifying in dental radiography and fluoride application. I hope to soon further my career; I have a special interest in Dental Hygiene/Therapy and Dental Technology.

I enjoy working at the Grange as I see the people I work with as my family rather than colleagues. I enjoy meeting new people every day and interacting with our patients.

Outside of work I enjoy going on holiday. I also enjoy going out with friends and spending time with my husband and baby son. I support the mighty Boro and I try to go to as many games as I can. UTB !!’

In the future I hope to work in Cosmetic Dentistry.

I am a real ‘foodie’ and I have a ginger cat called Tigger.’
