I graduated from Cambridge University in 2002, having read Economics. I have always had a passion for customer service, and working within a team, so Retail was at first an obvious career path for me. I joined the Marks and Spencer Graduate training Programme and from then on I was hooked. I spent a number of years travelling the country in my role as Per Una Regional Operations Manager, before joining TJX Europe as a District Manager.
When Paul and I took over the Practice in 2014, it was a natural transition for me to join the team as Business Manager, focusing on the business development of the Practice. I have really enjoyed getting to know the Practice team and our patients. I also qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2016 to gain a greater understanding about running an effective and patient focused surgery team.
I am really excited to work with our patients and staff to evolve the Practice, putting excellent patient care at the heart of everything we do. We have big plans over the coming years to extend opening hours, refurbish the reception areas and generally improve the patient experience, whilst retaining the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
In my spare time, I am passionate about kickboxing; my aim is to become a black belt within the next 10 years. I love to spend quality time with family and friends. I also love ‘mud runs’ and walking in the Lakes.
