Teeth Grinding?

Do you suffer from Jaw, Neck or Shoulder Pain and believe you may be grinding your teeth?

Problems with the jaw joint can present as pain or aching in many regions, from the joint itself to the teeth or the muscles that move the jaw whether in the head, neck or shoulders. These problems are collectively known as temperomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.

Other signs of jaw problems can be recognised in the teeth themselves from heavy wear facets all the way to fracturing the teeth.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms you may need to consider protecting the joint. Let your dentist know about these problems and they can help you with an appropriate treatment to alleviate your symptoms and/or address the underlying TMJ issue.

At the Grange Dental Practice we offer two effective treatments for temperomandibular joint disorder symptoms.
