ABOUT PAUL
I have worked at the Grange for over 20 years, alongside many of the current team. I’m so proud of the service and clinical care we provide to our lovely patients.
From routine procedures to complex reconstruction cases, I have extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry.
My patients tell me that they like my ‘down to Earth’ and ‘straight-talking’ approach.
I know how important it is for patients to feel comfortable in surgery. If you (or someone you care for) are anxious, fearful or have additional needs, do let us know- we are here to help.
I have mentored many dentists throughout their clinical careers and I really enjoy supporting their development.
I’m a member of the British Dental Association, and am a passionate advocate for improving access to NHS dentistry for the UK population.

‘I was born in Billingham, and have spent my whole life in the North East.
After going to University in Newcastle, I then returned home to Billingham and met Ruth. We married in 2006, and we now have 2 (very feisty) daughters.
As you will notice when you enter my Star Wars themed surgery I am a huge fan; even our family dog is called ‘Solo’.
Days off are spent hiking, wakesurfing or just hanging out watching rugby or old movies.’

‘I’ve been qualified for 10 years and have worked all around the country (London, Southampton, Leeds).
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry but my passion is orthodontics and minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry (composite bonding).
I really care about providing a high standard of care and prevention is my main focus.’
‘I have recently completed a year long post-graduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry with Tipton Training. This has really allowed me to grow my skills to provide a great finish to my treatments.
I am an Invisalign Go provider and also have experience in fixed braces. I love bringing these skills together to transform smiles.‘
‘I’m a busy mum of 2 little boys so that occupies most of my spare time!
I love to travel and have a passion for history and other cultures. I enjoy cooking (and eating) food from all over the world. I am also hooked on crime documentaries.’

‘I’ve been working here at the Grange for over 10 years and I love working in general dentistry. My nurse Amelia and I enjoy spending time talking to patients to ensure they feel at ease and to help reduce dental anxiety, especially with children.
My favourite part of my job is helping people to get a smile they love.
To help my patients achieve these results I have further training and qualifications allowing me to offer them options such as:

- Flexible dentures
- Restorative treatments such as crowns or white fillings.

I understand that how my patients feel about their smile can impact many areas of their life. Many have avoided social situations or turned down work opportunities because they dislike their smile.

‘I have degrees in both biomedical sciences and dentistry.
I’ve worked at the Grange for several years. I love taking care of my patients, alongside my regular nurse Carole.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, and am focused on improving and maintaining oral health for my patients.’
‘I love practising general dentistry.
In addition, I enjoy providing cosmetic procedures such as Boutique Whitening, Crowns and Cosmetic Fillings.’
‘When I’m not working I enjoy socialising with friends and family.
I am a regular gym-goer, and often take parts in events such as Tough Mudder & the Great North Run.
I love experiencing new cultures, and I travel as much as possible in my free time.’
