COVID- SAFETY GUIDANCE

We ARE OPEN for all treatments, including routine examinations and all treatments.

COVID-19

We ARE OPEN for all treatments, including routine examinations and all treatments. In line with official guidance, we are working at reduced capacity due to increased appointment times, fallow time gaps between appointments and social distancing around the Practice. Please do be patient with our team as you may need to wait longer than usual to access our services.

As a Practice we take our responsibilities seriously; we will do whatever we can to keep you (our patients) and our team safe. We strictly follow all advice from NHS England, and review our procedures regularly. We need you to follow the procedures we have in place. Please read this page carefully, and support us by following the instructions.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Thank you in advance for following the procedures as described below.

1) KEEP US INFORMED

If you are due to attend an appointment with us, but are feeling unwell, have recently had Covid-19, or have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19, then do let us know at the earliest opportunity so we can re-schedule an appointment.

2) ARRIVE ALONE, AND ‘JUST IN TIME’

Please use the loo before setting off. Our waiting room is now open, but where possible please arrive alone for your appointment so that we can minimise social contact. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, as we are unable to accommodate large groups. Of course we are supportive of the instances where a parent, carer or support individual is required for parenting/ caring, physical, translation or emotional support purposes.

3) WEAR A MASK

We are a medical setting, and we STILL require you to wear a mask when attending for your appointment. Our responsibility is for the safety of all of our patients and team members, and we regard mask wearing as an essential part of our operating procedures. If you, or someone you care for, is unable to wear a mask, please do contact us on 01642 553408 to discuss options for dental treatment.

4) AWAIT OUR CALL BEFORE ENTERING

When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car, or outside the Practice (in a socially distanced manner). We will contact you when we are ready to welcome you inside the Practice for your appointment. Please keep your mobile phone switched on (if you have one). In the event of bad weather, or if you have difficulty standing please do come into the Practice and we will seat you in the waiting room.

5) COMPLETE OUR COVID SCREENING

When you enter the Practice, our dedicated nurse will perform an additional covid screening questionnaire with you, and ask you to sanitise your hands.

6) FOLLOW THE ONE WAY SYSTEM

To minimise social contact, we are operating a one way system. You will be asked to pay for your treatment in advance, so that you do not need to re-visit the reception desk after your appointment. You will be escorted around the Practice at all times by your dental nurse who will take great care of you.
